Tilbhoom was a subsidiary estate of the Sephinjuri Bheel Tea Estate located in Cachar, Assam. The bungalow, set high atop a hill with grand views surrounded by slopes of tea, was my favourite place when we were young. Medley was the General Manager’s Bungalow at the main estate, it was larger but had no views, nor charm.  Tilbhoom was the place to be.
